Weight: A sheet of 1000 x 1000 x 1mm weighs 8 kg. i.e. 1cm3 weighs 0.008 kg.

An iron sheet is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. However, it will rust over time when exposed to the humidity in the air. Therefore, it will rust more quickly outdoor. If you would like to encourage the corrosion process, add water to the steel.

A steel sheet is easy to cut yourself. Use an angle grinder or for thin steel sheets use shears.

Steel sheets in ordinary steel can be welded together with a MIG welder.

Metal sheets can be moulded by heat.

An iron sheet in the Thickness: of 1 to 3 mm is called a steel sheet. The iron sheets can have surface corrosion upon delivery. The corrosion can be removed with a wire brush or sandpaper.
