Mirror polished steel sheets made of AISI 304 stainless steel are well-suited for use as mirrors in public toilet facilities, sports centres, children’s bedrooms, or places that carry a specific requirement for a material that cannot be smashed.
A high polish stainless steel sheet (AISI 304) can be used both indoors and outdoors. Does not rust. The steel mirror will, however, become dull over time.
Mirror polished steel sheets are very vulnerable to scratches, for which reason it must be accepted that the sheet may already have some small scratches upon delivery. Similarly, small scratches will quickly occur when the steel mirror is wiped down, etc. This is a natural patina which cannot be avoided.
The polished sheet comes with a protective film, which can be pulled off easily.
Rustproof metal sheets are easy for you to cut. Use an angle grinder or, for thin sheets, shears.
The steel sheets can be moulded by means of heat exposure.
Note: Must be installed onto an entirely flat and level surface if you wish to avoid any “funny” reflections.
Note: This sheet is not magnetic. For this, use the magnetic stainless steel sheet. Contains approx. 8% nickel.
