A T-iron can be used both indoors and outdoor. However, it will corrode over time, as it is exposed to humidity in the air. Consequently, it will corrode faster outdoor. In the case, where you want to further the corrosion proces, the iron rod can be exposed to water.

A steel bar is easy to cut yourself. Use an angle grinder or a hacksaw.

A steel bar in ordinary iron can be welded tandether with a CO2 welder.
